Accessibility
Last updated: August 7, 2026
Pirate Bids is committed to making our platform usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technologies. We are continually working to improve the accessibility and usability of our website and mobile apps.
Our Commitment
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities. We have not completed a formal third-party WCAG audit of the entire Service.
Accessibility Features
We work to support screen readers, keyboard navigation, readable color contrast, resizable text, and descriptive labels for interactive elements throughout the Service. On mobile, we follow platform accessibility patterns including accessible roles, labels, and adequate touch target sizing.
Known Limitations
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. Some areas may not yet fully conform, including older content, certain admin-only tools, third-party checkout experiences (such as Stripe Checkout), and interactive features that we continue to improve. We regularly review new and existing features to identify and address barriers.
Feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on Pirate Bids, we want to hear from you. Please contact us at support@piratebids.com with a description of the issue and the page or screen where you experienced it. We will do our best to provide the information or functionality you need and to address the barrier.
