Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated: August 7, 2026
You can permanently delete your Pirate Bids account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This applies to all accounts, including those created with Google sign-in.
Option 1: Delete your account yourself
- Sign in to your Pirate Bids account.
- Go to Account Settings and open the Privacy tab.
- Scroll to the Danger Zone section and click Delete My Account.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Option 2: Request deletion by email
Email support@piratebids.com from the email address on your account with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”. We will verify your identity and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes or anonymizes your personal information, including your name, email address, phone number, shipping address, and product interests. Any remaining bid coins are forfeited and any active membership is cancelled. This action cannot be undone.
We retain limited anonymized records needed for fraud prevention, accounting, tax, and legal compliance — for example, order and payment history and auction bid ledgers tied to an anonymized account identifier rather than your name or email. Those practices are described in our Privacy Policy. Retained records are kept only as long as necessary for those purposes.
Social sign-in data
If you signed up with Google, deleting your Pirate Bids account removes the profile data we received from that provider (such as your name and email address). You can additionally revoke Pirate Bids' access from your Google account security settings.
